About
The Full Story
In 2011, I received a diagnosis of breast cancer, which necessitated a complete mastectomy. Following the successful completion of chemotherapy and radiation, I underwent reconstruction in 2013. During this period, I became acutely aware of the limited availability of feminine mastectomy bras in the market. I distinctly recall an evening when I was wearing a strapless bra, and an acquaintance remarked on the asymmetry of my breasts. I responded candidly, "Yes, because I have had breast cancer." Rather than allowing that comment to undermine my confidence, I resolved from the outset that breast cancer would not define me. This realization empowered me to modify my own bras, ultimately inspiring me to offer this service to other women who have faced similar challenges. While my journey has not been without its difficulties, I now stand proudly, bearing my battle scars, and pay homage to all survivors.
